Fees & Cost

 

From January 1 2012, the government of St Kitts and Nevis has increased its fees as follows:

SIDF

Due Diligence Government Fees: The government Due Diligence fees increased from $3,500 USD per additional applicant over 16 years old to $7,000 USD for the main applicant and $4,000 USD per additional applicant over 16 years old.

SIDF Contribution:

The SIDF contribution amounts increased to:

$250,000 USD for single applicant

$300,000 USD for applicant with up to 3 dependents

$350,000 USD for applicant with up to 5 dependents

$450,000 USD for applicants with up to 7 dependents

 

Real Estate Option

Government Fees: The government fees increased from $35,000 USD for main applicant and $15,000 USD for spouse and children under 18 years old to $50,000 USD for main applicant and $25,000 USD for spouse and children under 18 years old.

Due Diligence Government Fees: The government Due Diligence fees increased from $3,500 USD per additional applicant over 16 years old to $7,000 USD for the main applicant and $4,000 USD per additional applicant over 16 years old.

Real Estate Contribution: The real estate contribution increased from $350,000 USD to $400,000 USD.

Additionally to these fees, real-estate buyers should be aware that there are also purchase costs (mainly compulsory insurance fund contribution and conveyance fees) of approximately 4 – 5% of the purchase price.
